Trip to West Virginia

We recently went to see family friends as their farm West Virginia. Savannah went with us and the puppies stayed in the kennel. She did not like the farmhouse and spent all of the trip sleeping in the bathroom. She did enjoy walks and swimming in the two ponds.

We took Savannah to meet Santa Paws this afternoon. We had originally planned to take all three of the dogs, but (wisely) thought better of it. Savannah went into overdrive when we got there. She barked quite a bit in line. Then came the picture taking. She refused to look at the camera and kept flopping on the fake snow in front of Santa. After several tries, we got one really good picture of everyone. It was pretty fun even though Savannah left her manners at home!
